LCD Montitor Suggestions

I've tried the search function dozens of times and am about to move on to another source but at the risk of being flamed can someone recommend an LCD to me please. I have around 400-500 I do digital photo editing, download all my tv shows and watch on my pc I may game but not essential at all. One concern I have it that it not be overly bright. Ihave to buy one soon and don't have much time to research and thought I'd ask for help. I don't want to go smaller than 24" and would like larger if possible although I doubt it. I moved from a Samsung Syncmaster 226BW to a Dell 2408WFP, and I love it. Despite the reports floating around about backlight bleed and poor response time, I see no difference at all in gaming, and no issues with bleeding or banding. Plus,t he colour reproduction is much better than the Samsung.

If you want to do any kind of serious colour work on your screen, however, none of the commercial brands will really cut it. I'd suggest grabbing a calibrator, something like a LaCie BlueEyePro.

I also do lots of video and photo on my PC.

I watch TV shows from ABC.com and in HD stream, the quality of the picture is great.

I'd recommend the one that I'm using, SAMSUNG ToC T240. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...01275&Tpk=t240

There are other ones like the LG or ASUS 24" as well, with good ratings.
