Is there any posted reviews on this board yet....I mean the Foconn's one. Having trouble finding info other then pics. Also I don't think my DDR3 ram (in sig) will work on this board will it? Also I am a little confused as well. I thought the NB was built into the CPU...Am I missing something? Starting to feel retarded...
Thanks for clearing that up...Mucho appreciation! So basically you don't need to volt up the NB then to overclock? So the stock cooling can stay and not need any water cooling.
well, i personally dont think this contest is very good.
its a way to make deseprate people create multi posts regarind the same thing in hopes of getting a free X58 board.
Which later on will add to clutter in the threads.
And poor ash did a TON of work cleaning up our threads too.
This is why i havent entered in the thread.
Shiet if i wanted, i would pop out a prototype mosfet and nb/sb single block.
That would generate at least 10 pages in 3 days.

Its my fault.. and no im not sorry about it either.[12:37] skinnee: quit helping me procrastinate block reviews, you asshat. :p
[12:38] Naekuh: i love watching u get the firing squad on XS
sorry for the off topic question but i have to ask....if the nb or w/e you want to call it is water cooled whats the use for those huge heat sinks? obviously their purpose is to reduce heat but heat from what component?
What CPU-blocks would fit the LGA1366? I have a D-Tek Fuzion (V1) at home, and with a new mounting plate it might fit?

Okay. Suppose it's just as good to buy a new block then... =)
I'm going with the new P6T motherboard from ASUS. The Swiftech Appogee GTZ seem to fit the LGA1366 socket with the std. mounting plate. Is this the reality or do I have to buy a mounting plate for this one too?
EDIT: My bad. The mounting kit for the Swiftech block doesn't fit the LGA1366 out of the box, but the new versions will. =)

i wish the p6t would make their stock block watercooled like the gigabytes mobo.... btw why the p6t when the gigabytes mobo has 3 16x lanes....
It has something to do with the price. =)
I've also heard alot good comments on the P6T Deluxe motherboard.
Regarding the stock waterblock at the NB. I'd prefer they come without any waterblock mounted because if you are going to cool the NB you will have to put a custom block there. The integrated blocks doesn't perform they way I want them, so therefore I'm going with a custom one. =)
