Here is a review from our site http://www.hwbox.gr/showthread.php?t=2915 It is in Greek, but there is a flag for English translation.
For the flashes, everybody can understand them
When Mercedes brought their C111 to Talledega years ago and blew away the closed course record did it count? Yes..
That was a "factory" car and a "one of" that no one could buy and was never sold.
Records are records and that is a fact so get over it.

Just because the performance data presented is hilarious:
"Core i7 beats Intel IGP in DirectX 10 software rasterizer"
    http://techreport.com/discussions.x/15968

Somehow those news have written Larrabee all over them even though they didn't mention it at all. Well, maybe I'm wrong...

    Well , Intel's IGP is a 5w solution vs. a 130w CPU.

    I wish some at least one even moderately trusted site would dispel some the *myths, half truths and down right misleading statements made about;
    1. The FSB and its effects on "DESKTOP" performance.
    2. Advantages of FSB overclocking.
    3. The origins of IMC.
    4. Alpha's legacy as it relates to Intel and AMD.

I like and respect JJ a whole lot but think some of the comments he made were misleading. Or they were made to make a certain faction feel better. You can't copy someone who is copying some one else, who copied you LOL! Solid info means fewer flame wars. Give credit where it is due! It's almost as absurd as saying the next model of Core i7 with IGP is a copy of Fusion that ain't out yet and itself being a copy of Timna. AMD should be given credit for its accomplishments, not something some one else did.

The C111 that broke the unrecognized record was unfortunately not a stock car: "Though not recognized by FIA, it was a highly desirable world record, and after the successes with the C 111-III, the Mercedes-Benz engineers felt that it was within reach. Just another 100 hp would do - but could no longer be squeezed out of the near-production diesel.

The team opted for the 4.5 litre V8 petrol engine from large-scale production, raised its displacement to 4.8 litres and equipped the unit with sodium-cooled valves, two KKK turbochargers and a triple-plate clutch that was capable of coping with 600 Nm torque."
Still a beauty and I agree a record nevertheless.

Think it's more related to what kinda of cooling you have on there. ( temp. wise speaking )

I think a lot of people will be able to give you an answer months down the road, since many including myself are using that voltage. Since intel increase specs up from 1.45 max core (45nm core duos) to 1.55 max core on i7, I am expecting these to tolerate more than 45nm core duos.

I am using 1.412 bios with LLC enabled, which is same load voltage as using 1.461 bios without LLC. And many are running 1.45 bios LLC on, and some using 1.45 near load....so time will tell.

I've searched through most of the reviews in the net, and haven't found answer to my question
How much Watts does the i7 (would be best if someone with 920 would tell) is 'eating' after some OC with the rest of the stuff.

A lot, bet less than other top chips from the older generation with the same . If you want green economy info, guess a new forum header would need too be created, real energy saver you know? Doesn't quite fit the Xtreme though

it would be interesting to see how stable 12gb of ram is on an overclocked system ... there does not seem to be much information out there regarding 12gb ram kits ; its probably too cost probative (once the other components of an i7 rig are accounted for)

? does each 2gb stick have to be matched within the slots OR do all 6 sticks have to be matched in both slots??
    (assuming 12gb is acheived using 6 x 2gb sticks)

I'm stable at 4.0, but what fun is that? I'm bench stable at 4.65 with HT off and can load vista at 4.70.... but can't do anything with it at that point. Just got my third R2E and this one (ver 2) seems rock solid. thinking I'll get 4.7 stable yet... or blow it up trying Haven't gone over 1.6 CPUv yet cause I don't have a tray of them laying around
