No e! We now know to put exactly ZERO worth into any posts from this cat. Hell, super-basic math escapes him. He understands how to spend money though! Doh.

And pyth's follow up was, well, he needs to run faster than 5.11 to beat the 4.53 I7.... What!? He already beat it at 5.11... reality is hard to swallow sometimes - I guess...

I run both, but I find that OCCT is not as hard as SPI is on overclocks. I can run the latest OCCT for hours (Rev 2.1 I think??) but if my settings aren't perfect, I'll crash SPI in 3 minutes. It's no 'fascination', SPI, especially 32M, is the last word in stability IMHO - aside from gaming. Gaming is the end all be all for stability as I can be ALL stress tests stable and still crash games. That's because the northbridge and video cards aren't pushed with any other stress tests. I wish there was an OCCT with video stress test. That would be the way to go.

I believe most extreme overclockers here are seeking for extreme speed and not for extreme stable
those haters on overclocker's superpi second why not challenge on CPUZ's capture screen....?? no meaning in this extreme site
why not just keep the mouth open if can't keep the mouth shut??

It has been stated, like a billion times ... this is Xtremesytems, that's the way we like to overclock, pushing the system to its limits ... knowing that the system is 32M stable, is enough for us, because we know that now we can bench some 3Ds with no problems at all

Screw stability ffs , this is www.xtremesystems.org
