its a 965 ES QICK stepping.

and regarding uncore...yes i too basically view it as the l3 cache speed as that is probably the largest part of the die not dedicated to core processing....ie the un-core
it appears to be capable of running at least twice a decent ram speed of say ddr3-2000....even higher there appear to be no issues...one just has to get the voltages right to the memory etc.

Why don't you try and see if it gains performance? uclk a little over memory speed x2 will give you more performance in some applications, best i've notish is qpi and uclk at the same speed.

my 920 is around 1.4v for 4GHz as well

only realised after using realtemp and looking at my nautilus water temp keep raising eeeek

Ok, been following this thread for a while, read most of the comments. Fugger said it was done, on the 27th, and then the thread dies? I went to the main xtreme overclocking page, looked for a followup thread, but didn't see it? I have to believe I missed it, can someone direct me to it, as I can't wait to see how it turned out. quick maxscreen frequency test with R2E and 965xe

Vcore 1.6 , Cascade temp -100°
Boot to 169X29, and change Multiplier from 29 to 31 under windows.
