Yeah, take a break. Shut everything down for a few days and see if you can isolate the amount of juice your farm uses - or maybe in the case of people here I should be spelling that pharm.

Do you think 5 more Q6600s will get me in the top 10?

I'm at 300k at the moment but churning up through the ranks fast enough not sure I'll ever catch up to those in the top 10 though!

TBH I have 4 Q6600
2x AMD x2's
2x 1.8 iMac's
and a few others and that is not enough to do to 20.
Twilyth is running 2x Quad AMD's and 3x Q6600's on top of mine is what it takes to make top 10 even just some times.

So what you are saying is I have to buy more quads?

If I add them all up I'll have the following:

7xQ6600s @3.2GHz (min)
1x E8400@4GHZ
1x 4600+X2 @ 2.5GHz
3x E8400s@stock 3GHz (Work PCs IT wont let me OC them!)
1 x T7300 running on one core at 60% to keep temps down.

hmmm.......

I have no idea what his are clocked @ but I have 2 stock 2.4 Q's and the 2 in the basement @ 3.4 each. All the rest are stock also.
So you may have enough, Time will tell I guess.

Yeah, those sammies are nice, just under 7,000 PPD (Dave's is averaging 6,900 PPD based off that SS of his) for what, US$300-400? Unfortunately for me that's about AU$450-600, as opposed to AU$600 locally for a Q6600 that'll do about 15k PPD... Ah, the choices, the choices! Sammies would be nice over the summer since they'd be putting out like zero heat, but a Q6600 would cost about the same and get something like double the points...

Yeah, I also just realised that due to recent price rises, my previously AU$600 Q6600 builds are now more like AU$800, so ~US$250 = AU$380... Still not quite the PPD/$$$ that a Q6600 gets (when you factor in shipping), and 2 Sammies probably use the same amount of juice as one Q6600 at 3.6 Ghz... If only we could get that pin mod on the Sammies working.
