Far from new. I just blew the dust off an old i7 920 on a P6TE I had kicking around but couldn't remember if it was a go'er or not. Getting the MB to successfully post is probably why I mothballed itFired it up & gave it some work to do. The magnitude of the increase in points has surprised me somewhat
Recent Nvidia driver optimisations have allowed me to allocate more threads to WCG, which would account for some of the increase. That still leaves 38 threads for GPUgrid
