Asus Dark Knight HD 4870 1Gb

How well do you think the heatsink works? I'm not sure I want to buy this card without also buying a TR HR-03 R600 (I know it's not made for the newer high-end cards, but I don't see why it wouldn't fit)

Looks like the metal bracket under the fan is blocking the airflow pretty well. Might still be better than the stock cooler on HD4870.

The heatsink isnt so big and the fan looks like "weak", but I think will do the job better than stock cooler and more silent

This thread comes up at the 2nd search result on Google, and since I'm sure there are others besides me researching the card, I thought I'd post my results.

35% fan, hits 55C load after hours (3 or so) of TF2. 35% is inaudible over my case fans. 55%, which is slightly audible, but still quieter than my reference 4850, I peak at 55C in ATITool, 56C in Crysis benchmark looped. This is a solid performer.
