    Extreme PSU

I have a chance to buy this transformer for a bargain.

Would it be possible to make a Graphic card dedicated PSU out of it ?

Well I plan for the future Most important is the price for me, that is about 7 dollars or less I think(maybe its subjective) that a massive transformer like this will be more stable than Switching power ATX supply.

Well it will only be used for benching so i dont really care about efficiency. But can it be used on a 380V connector we have in our garage ? It looks like a three phase but someold kind. How can i connect this transformer ?

It looks like it should work ok. After rectification and smothing you should have a DC voltage of around 15v, which will need to be regulated down to 12v. If you go with linear regulation, you will have about 250W of power to dissipate at maximum load of 83A, which might cause a few problems tho.

Well I am quite a noob at this. Can I somewhere find a scheme and a calc. for the component parameters ?
