    AMD Athlon64 over 2600Mhz

Well I ve just completed my dreamy setup:

    A64 3000+ 130nm (Newcastle i think)
    DFI LanParty NF3 250Gb
    A-Data Vitesta 566Mhz

My problem is, that i cant get the CPU over 2600 Mhz no matter how i try. I have the board set up at 280FSB and 9 multi, it runs stable, but when i try for 10 it wont boot up the system. I even tried 1,90 Volts, but it wont help. It runs 2600Mhz on 1,6Volts. My HTT multi is 3 and RAM runs on 600Mhz The CPU is water cooled, the board has its stock heatsink, and a FAN on it, temps on both around 20 degrees. I dont know what am i doing wrong

Well since noone answered my question, i began a little reasarch. I found that

-Different memory dividers work for different FSB (high memory freq not taking in concideration because all under 566'

-different mem frequencies of TCCD respon to different voltages

-CPU sometimes gets more stable on lower, sometimes on higher the spectrum is between 1,7 - 2,1 V

-current max is 2820Mhz Valid stable

    2.8 is a nice oc.
The older s939 AMD,s always like 1T timimings VS.2T for overclocking.

Not sure what you are running?

    But 2.8 is good though.

My specs are listed in the first post. If anyone knew how to run the board for 400FSB i would be glad. I need to push a Sempron 2800+ to 3,2Ghz

Well i tried it under Dry Ice this weekend and probably killed it. The water must have got to naked resistors, because the Sempron with IHS is still working...

thing is you set to a lower multi and then boot up.. and enable cnq and see if it runs prime.. if it does.. then ur bios has one of those annoying s939 ht caps issues. i dono if im the only one whos heard of it.. but when i did some research on ocwforums or someting thats what the explanation was..
