    i7-920 low vantage score - help please

    Recently I compared bench's with a friend.

    Both on i7-920 D0's. Mine running at 4.1ghz on water and with out HT my score is 18k and with HT 25k.

    My friends @ 3.5ghz on air with HT was scoring 56k

    So far i've updated the bios and updated chipset drivers but it hasn't helped. I'll attach some pics I took of the bios, hopefully it will help..

    Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

    I bet he has PhysX on in the Nvidia driver... so the CPU test is aided by the GPU not the CPU...
    Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

    Hmm.. Yeah he has a single gtx 465 and I'm running 6870's.. It really makes that big of a difference?

    let me pull some numbers with the 5870 and GTX460... wanna try if SLI is still working on this board...

    Physx off : 19107 ( CPU Score : 27316 )



    tossed in the 5870

    try not using a 20X multi for your overclock. Mine had issues with it.
