    Few Question About SS Cooling

    Hey Guys

I Read Threat About Single Stage And Phase Change Cooling And My Problem This:

What's HX? Why Would Be HX On Cycle Cooling System?

    And Many Question

I'm no expert, however that is a auto cascade in that picture, not really what you'd call a SS unit. A HX is a heat exchanger and the phase sep. separates the cold/condensed gas from the hot gas - i'm not 100% sure about that, i'm sure someone else will confirm.

An HX is a heat exchanger. People use them in cascades in between the 2 stages to transfer the heat of the second stage gas to the first stage gas.

You Mean Refrigrant Stage 2 IN HX Mixed With Refrigrant Stage1?
Or Colder Pipe 1Stage In HX Be Cold Stage2 Pipe?

A HX is used to cool gas which condenses at a low temp...the hx has two chambers and thus 2 compressors side one uses a gas which can condense at lower pressure and side 2 uses gas which compresses at a higher pressure (lower temp). The gases are kept separate.

A phase separator works in a similiar fashion but the gas is combined with one gas evaporatoing and condensing at a warmer temp than the other and when it evaporats it cools the other gas enough to condense...the lower pressure gas exits through one outlet and the higher pressure gas exits out another exit where it is channeled to an evaporator...
Never empower an idiot with a response....

yes you can use a Rotary Compressor For Single Stage

you will need to read through a lot of the sticks here and first understand how a single stage cooler works. If you dont understand how they work you need to do some more reading before attempting any build

    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=104454

After many builds and some more reading you will be ready to tackle a cascade, maybe
AUtocascades are alot harder and not many ppl have got them to work let alone hold the load of the latest cpus.
Any build not done incorrectly can seriously hurt someone
