200 for a new phone. The rest goes into a fund for when i7 2nd gen of chips hit.

ok I will try this again; what is your current desktop background and how often do you change it? IE the picture you see on your monitor.

I always have a slinky by my computer to settle me down after playing video games, or ocing that isn't going so well.

For you home owners how easy is it to upgrade your electricity from 100 to 200 amp service?

I just looked around and it seems like a job that you shouldn't do by yourself unless you're a qualified electrician. Estimates range from $2,000 to $3,000. I don't own a house though so somebody with more knowledge should probably elaborate.

What should I do with my watercooling setup? I threw away my reservoir yesterday because I couldn't open it to get to the algea on the insides of it. Now I'm stuck with a Thermochill PA120.2, some Tygon R3400 which I tried cleaning a bit with pipe cleaners, a DD MC-TDX that would desperately need cleaning on the insides but I can't do that without voiding the warranty. I also have a pump, a Laing DDC-1T. Should I sell it all? I'm a bit fed up with the maintenance needed to be honest, and a good air cooling set up is only as loud as the fans on it and the same goes for a water cooling set up.

This is what I am using on my water cooled crunchers.

But ask over in the water cooling as I am not 100% sure its ok. Its good enough for a radiator so it must be alright.

Do you have more than 2 i7s crunching atm?

That is a very good question. My gut tells me in about 3-6 months.

If you mean "at the place where I work" - liquid nitrogen
If you mean "which belongs to your workplace" - single stage, one of my favourite motherboards and any CPU

Do you work in your area of expertise? If not, have you ever?

This thread got forgotten when common suspects ran out of good questions.

@ s0lid: I might remake this avatar with longer interval between eights, that would be even more annoying

I think the money could have been better spent elsewhere (not a huge fan of converting the apple case)

Have you been able to keep your job though the worlds economic crisis?

Sure I do, as long as rich people exists, they will come with their boats to the harbour i work. They will be less germans and more russians, though.

Do you play any sort of musical instrument?

None but I drive an Audi A6 that belongs to my parents more than they do.

How would I go about finding a job in Vancouver for a month or two? I'm bored and stressed at the same time here in Switzerland, I need some change.

No idea. But wouldnt it be easier to find a job here in the old continent? Many people come to my place to work during the summer (Ibiza) ;D I have to admit, they dont make much money, but at least they pay their expenses while having a great time which is the point many times (specially if you are studing at that time).
