    Around 24h I think.

OT: I managed to finish my program in under 12 hours available here, requires Visual C++ redistributable.

Can you sing (without scaring other people)?

Hopefully not. I haven't really been sick in a while.

Why oh why is finding an mATX case that'll fit a 120x2 radiator as well as a 2-slot GPU in the bottom PCIe x16 slot of the mobo (board has PCIe x16, x1, x16, PCI)?

For ultimate top-end, I believe it's still the top (if you don't count coolers that are too big to fit in... well ANY case like that Scythe monster). When value comes even remotely required, Xigmatek HDT-S1283/S1284EE perform almost as well at half the price (and includes a fan).

Think the next generation of GPUs will give something with the power of an HD4850 X2 or HD4870 X2 on a card about the size of an HD4870 (ie 9.6" long)?

Probably not it will be the same size they currently are basically so they wont fit the old cases. Did someone say upgrade??

Do you prefer caned air or use a air compressor?

More like deliberately choosing a small case which as a side effect can't fit anything loner than a 9.6" card (ie HD4870 1Gb).

Canned. I don't have an air compressor for anything else, and don't need to buy one just yet.

I really don't have one as most of my ram isn't overclocked much but my best kit was and still is my 2*1GB DDR 667 Crucial 10th Anniversary kit its D9 from 2006, that OCed to ddr 1000 speed default timings with 2.1v

How did you get into overclocking computers? and how did you find XS?

Embarrassing really. I stumbled on the site after being at THG for a few months. Once I joined, I basically never went back. I got into overclocking because my old 2GHz Northwood just didn't cut it.

Do you have a wireless keyboard or mouse?

Yeah, I am currently using a MX Revolution with my laptop. It's the only decent wireless mouse I've ever used.

Yeah, on a job once, client didn't tell me she had other files she needed on a folder that wasn't on her desktop as they were instructed to place their files so we could save them prior to doing an OS upgrade.

I got a heated e-mail and call the next day "WHERE ARE MY FILES!!!!!!!!!!!!!" etc etc.

    That was a fun deal.

Ever have a day where you feel like all the pressure of life is wrapped around your head and steadily and constantly squeezing?

So you have been on a plane from Asia to the US. Or walking in and your boss saying your late for a meeting and walking into that meeting and basically being slapped because something you told someone to do and they didn't and now you have to take a few days and fix the problem.

Do you think the lottery helps or hurts more family's?

When it's excessive gambling is a very destructive problem. Ranks up there with alcoholism and drug addiction.

My sisters wedding. I fainted during the 1 1/2 hour long service oh did i mention the groomsmen/bridesmaides had to stand. Was 110+ F no air movement at all, no AC in the church and I didn't eat anything before the service. Also note that I was standing up with a girl that also fainted too. Aside from that nothing that I can legally talk about.

Most emotional moment? Aside for a child being born/finding out your having a kid, a wedding/wedding proposal and death?

The past 10 months or so have been pretty rough emotionally but I guess an event that stands out is when I found out my rc surgery had failed.

Getting an external water cooling setup and chucking both my Q6600's on it. Car radiator mounted to the wall outside with a shroud to protect from sunlight, tubing up into the eves and then down through the ceiling into my room. Means I can actually run both quads 24/7 at 3.6+ GHz even during summer. The E7200 would then get moved into my desktop and hopefully get a decent (4.0+ GHz) clock on it.

How come, when technology is supposed to bring smaller and more efficient computers, things are just getting bigger? Graphics cards 3 years ago were maybe 7-8" long, but now 10.5" cards are just about standard, and some cards are even becoming triple slot (Palit/Gainward HD4870 X2). Processors are getting bigger (i7), cases are getting bigger (Full-tower ATX seems to just about be the standard now). Power-per-watt might be improving, but over-all power consumption is still going through the roof.
