    1. I use more when I'm working with my laptop (laptop + desktop's screen).

    Buying stuff OS for cheap + worrying about customs/shipping, or from the same country for a bit more $$$ but faster shipping?

    Whatever the native resolution is 1680x1050 on the desktop, 1440x900 on the laptop.

    .avi for me, that always works. The next person can have another guess. If that isn't correct, I'll let you know. Oh, the resolution increased to 4992x1200 today, that might make it easier

    avi - mkv isn't as widely supported and I've never notice much of a difference although mkvs are supposed to be smaller.

    no idea on the resolution thing - sounds a little like 4x HD but pretty sure that's not available yet.

    True 120 or Xigmatek S1283 - overall - I know that a lapped true a few degrees better.

    nice set of axes in the second pic. What's in the middle - too short for a soprano sax or a standard clarinet. Looks like it has to be double reed - oboe? Kinda short.
