Here i got a Intel X58SO and a 965 Extreme. Compared to the ref board the R2E looks .... well just crazy. I dont feel that the full potential of the CPU can be reached on the ref board. Neeed to have... pleease

    Very nice pictures

    Cheers

400 euros so maybe around 500 USD when they list prices for pre release products its usually in lots of 1000, actual retail price usually goes out by the time of release however if this comes out at 500 dollars I will buy it first day

    Elmor,
Do you know a release date for the board or perhaps a good guess? I noticed that the P6T is available from Komplett.se. And i got one (from a mutual friend @Intel Sweden) of the X58SO that you abused already
IŽll see what i can do with.... it if its still alive that is

    The R2E looks soooo cruel

    Cheers

Sorry, I only have the 965 EE. But I think not many will run anything else with this board

None of these results are from Intel HQ actually, they are from my apartment in Stockholm though. For those results check Marcus thread in Xtreme 3D

    Hi Elmor

Can you confirm if Rampage II Extreme has separate voltage for DIMM?? or does it abide by intel CPU limits

You can set the memory voltage separately if that's what you mean.

Well what I really meant to ask was if vDIMM has a safety limit of 1.65v like reference Intel board & like P6T?

Or does it have a CPU/QPI independent vDIMM voltage as announced for MSI Eclipse?

    Hope that's a clearer question.

    Thank you
