Watercool Germany finally released their Heatkiller 3,0 - yes it's LGA 1366

Comes in different 3 different flavors:

Available from Aquatuning Germany or directly at Watercool. Especially the lower 2 are very attractively priced

I really like the look of the middle one there. Anyhoo, has anyone seen the mounting plate for the gtx/gtz yet? Its 4 days past i7 launch.

You must have been using a different chilledpc then.

I've had nothing but service well above and beyond the call of duty from Tom regarding the 6 or so orders I've placed.

Save, perhaps, for the absence of a free case badge (we I didn't order, hint, hint) from my big order which I'm not that worried about TBH.

Just got word from Swiftech that their mounting hardware will be available very soon. It arrives at Swiftech (hopefully) "tomorrow" (which I'm assuming means Monday), so you should see stock at US retailers next week and at Canadian ones (go Canada) the following week due to longer shipping times.

Certainly not my experience. I've spent hundreds with a dozen orders there and never had anything but an excellent, fast and courteous service. 10 out of 10. Then again I'm not affiliated with any of them. Oh, and you get a free sweet.

Europe already has a wide selection availible. Very tempted to get one, but shipping kills the deal

    1 cpu block = 160 dollars.
    90 dollars for block
    70 dollars for shipping.

I think it's safe to say everyone will come out with an LGA1366 mount, the bigger question is, how do current CPU blocks designed for older CPU models, perform on the new i7 chips? Performs worse, better, the same, I'm eagerly waiting the first tests on here.

    XSPC delta V3

I've had a chance to test a few blocks on the I7 and the best performer I've found so far is the XSPC Delta V3 with the I7 adapter plate.

readily available in the UK here:

more info on the block here:

Sounds a little like an advert.

Any details against which blocks, test methodology?

Which blocks did you use and what exactly were your results?
