    Probably raise the MCH volt or RAM volt to 2.0v.

    OK, So I got my new UD3R, thinking my other one was screwed up. If you can remember, for some reason my motherboard will not run 2 sticks of ram no matter what size. So I bought a new mobo since newegg would not replace and gigabyte still has not sent me any kind of RMA confirmation for the mobo. Anywho, fast forward to today. I got the motherboard, rev 1.1(interesting the NB/Sb coolers are a bit different in finish and sizes then from rev 1.0) so i reinstalled with new motherboard. Well, this one won't run with 2 modules either. Also, once I installed it, it would hang as soon as my desktop came up. So i grabbed a spare HDD and installed Windows fresh. No more hang but I still can only run one module. If I put 2 modules in it won't even get to bios.
    Does anyone have any clue what this may be from? I am thinking maybe a PSu issue, as my HX520 is almost 2 yrs old now, but for the past 3 weeks, I have been running at 471x8.5 with no issues, except the ram issue. I am so puzzled right now. I have 5 different sets of ram that I have tested with all the same effect...1 stick=mobo runs, 2 sticks= mobo won't post even to bios.

    bluestang,try 1.36-138 mch and maybe try to drop mch reference voltage one notch,also might just need more vcore.but i suspect its the mch voltage,you are running 4GB of ram at 525fsb.my voltages were exactly the same as your,except i used 1.38-1.40 mch volts and my mch ref volts always showed up on ET6 as 0.70.with 1.28vtt,the exact mch ref setting is 0.750.so maybe give this a try.

    radaja, thanks...I'll give that a try and see what happens. I'd like to getmy ram to run @ 1:1 538 FSB, but we'll see. Is 1.38 safe for 24/7 ??

    First upgrade your HWMonitor and Everest to latest version(for proper reading).
    Second,try with different PSU(your PSU +12V=>11.6;=3.3V=>3.26)with 8-pin +12V power connector(overclocking purpose)

    The max safe MCH volt is 1.6v as long as the cooling is good enough. Good enough is not exceeding 60C or so under load. Therefore I recommend putting a fan on it.

    First: Sorry for my bad English.

    I have the same Problem like Jor3lBR with 2x2048MB RAM, DDR1066 and MCH-Voltage, he discibes on Page 58/59.

    but it is more bad, my "Stuck" MCH -Core is 1,2V!!

    Corsair Dominator 2x2048MB DDR 1066 5/5/5/15, the CPU is a Q9550 E0.

    When i set everything to DEFAULT (FSB333x8,5, DDR1066) i can boot and everything is fine. Even DDR 1080 is no Problem.

    But when i raise the MCH-Core Voltage over 1,2V the Board loop in Reboots. I must turn down FSB to 325 (DDR 1040), then i can boot.

    I need higher MCH-Core Voltage then 1,2V for my Quad at higher FSB, but then i cant run DDR 1066or higher!
    (For Example FSB 445 and 2.4B=1066 -> not possible over 1,2V MCH
    FSB 433 and 2.4B=1040 -> possible with 1,2-1,4V)

    What is the Problem, is the Board damaged or the RAM incompatible?

    Any solution?

    What bios are you using? Could you post your bios template? I personally dropped the 2.40 strap. I'm using 8gb of ram now and cant seem to get it stable at 1100-1200mhz. 1:1 i can prime for days. I'd rather have the stability than the extra Mhz.

    I just got an EP45-UD3P for my HTPC along with an E7300, and I also got a pair of these DDR2 sticks: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231209 - G.Skill Pi Black 6400 @ 1.8-1.9v.

    Unfortunately I'm having problems running the board with both sticks populated - I get a continuous series of short beeps. Either one of them individually boots fine. I've tried:

    * Increasing DDR2 voltage from 1.8 to 1.9 to 1.95. The RAM's rated to run at 800mhz / 4-4-4-12 at '1.8-1.9v'
    * Increasing MCH voltage by .1v (MCH ref stock)
    * Running the sticks in different colored slots so that it should run in single channel mode
    * Turning off auto (spd) settings and relaxing timings to 5-5-5-18
    * Running memtest86 on each stick individually (they pass)
    Everything else is stock.

    Same result each time, continuous series of beeps.

    Any ideas? This seems like a good board, and the RAM seems good as long as I only have 1 stick in. I should add that there is no overclock and I have not tried any overclocking on this rig (since I can't get it to work in baseline mode first!)

    I'm having problems with my Linksys Wireless adapter. When change my FSB from 333 to over about 350 it stops connecting to the network. Can anyone think of a reason why? It was on my old Abit IP35-E running at 445x9 and now it won't work at anything over 350x9.
