High res images here and here. Someone linked them at TPU.

Now you can see what's under the PWM sinks.

Maybe it's something similar to MSI's DrMOS, where the components are integrated into each other?

It's probably only a matter of time before we get 4GB DDR3 sticks available at a reasonable price. Maybe not bleeding speed, but if 6GB isn't enough, you're probably looking for quantity over speed anyway.

But damn, is that ever a sexy looking board.

And don't forget how much harder it is to oc with a tonne of ram. The MMC will promptly turd itself.

ok, so they're not traditional analogue chokes, but they're not the volterra chips we've been seeing.
guess this supports the whole hybrid pwm thing, and guess we can't quite pidgeonhole the likely performance yet, we'll just have to wait for numbers...sigh...

Hmm i actually like the idea of only 3 ram slots. It saves space and really, once I have 6gb of ddr3 installed i wont need anymore. Hell, even 3gb is enough.

I'd say they are chokes. Seeing as digital PWMs usually use integrated chokes and smaller capacitors, this would be a regular analog setup.

Without a doubt one of the sexiest boards I've seen in years!!!

Would go real nice with some red PCB ATI cards and red RAM heatspreaders too.

Wow Now that is a good looking sleek board.
I remember the Avenger (deep 6'd) which would've been awesome too. Way to go Foxconn.

the chips behind the caps look digital to me, and foxconn has caps with their digitals, look at the avenger/digital life or the blackops

and why do people care about the water block with no MC on the NB its just a pci-e controller so it shouldent get hot

I was looking at the High res images and it looks Eight holes around the socket for mounting HS? This would be nice dont have to change mounting hardware for my phase cooler. Thats if it goes into production like that.

People care about it cause it shows they care more about a marketing gimmic aimed at fools then enthusiasts, OR it shows that they dont know what their doing as far as watercooling goes, in which case they shouldn't even pretend to by making a built in block. Asus is just as bad.

Hmm how expensive is this thing going to be? That will pretty much be the deciding factor for me.

I see the little box thingies [chokes right?] and digital doesn't need them no? You can tell I know JACK ALL about electric circuits . However Saaya can't lie so it must be lol.
Why not?! Blood appears to be blue when looking at your veins Even though I hate red I think I would put up with it on this board. My god guys, it's too early for me to be awake but since I can't sleep, here I am about to go to the gym ^_^
