    Nop; just a mixture of R507 and R23... I found it to work really well here (it allows reaching a very cold temp with an acceptable LSP);

    The R14 starts condensating at 15bars (pulls down very quickly to -130C) and then stays within 15 to 18bars which is not too high when you realize that the unit is only made of 2 stages.

    Only matter is there isn't an oil sep at the moment... so sometimes, the 2nd stage temp gets warmer and then decreased again... and so on. Typical oil issue. I'll add an oil sep in about a week.

    Basically here are the specs:

    - 2 x 40.7cc/rev compressors
    - 2.7kw condenser
    - 12 pl. HX (not as small as it seems to be)
    - Passive desuperheater for 2nd stage
    - Vibration dampers for IN and OUT sides of compressors
    - 2 x 1.8m of 0.8mm captube at 1st stage
    - 1 x 3.4m of 0.9mm captube at 2nd stage
    Best Regards,
    Xavier

    Wonderful results, have you tested on something with a heavier load.? 980 perhaps.?

    Either way it's awesome work.

    Completely depends on the cascade. A stronger cascade would be able to maintain -125C on a 980X and possibly enable 6+GHz(if the chip will do 6+GHz at such warm temps).

    can you post the specs of the cascade please...

    Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?
