And what a bang it is... What a bang indeed.
Anyone know if they give a performance boost?

People on Guru3d are getting significant boosts in Vantage, and some are reporting gains in games as well.
These are beta drivers though, and seem to be pretty unstable.

pre-beta?
anyone got before and after numbers for us?
These may turn out something to look forward to after all....
vantage is bad ass with these drivers, scores shot up by ~ 480 and ~ 370 in performance and xtreme settings respectively since 177.83 which was the best performing driver i'd come across all round. haven't had time to test games, weather is too warm and crysis doesnt like my 1512mhz shader clocks during the day time. will check it out later on.
i havent had any problems so far under vista x64 except my game profiles are missing, but thats been broken for a few drivers it comes and goes when nvidia pleases. 2d clock domain switching is working which comes as a surprise to me, since it's only worked on less than half the drivers out since the gtx 280 was released.

Always watch out for IQ reduction when the performance increases dramatically. Although the vantage one is easily explained with a better physx driver for the GPU.
This coincides with the 5FPS increase noted in CSS. If you are benching you wouldn't care of course. If you are gaming..
I installed these drivers from laptopvideo2go and used the inf file from this forum. I also changed the previously said file to the right extention. Dirver works for me just fine. The nvidia control panel now gives me an option to enable physix under the sli section as well as an sli focus section.
I installed the system tools 6.03 and it works fine for me. I can adjust the fan speed on my cards as well with this version.

I see what I see, and you see what you see. I can't make you see what I see, but I can tell you what I see is not what you see. Truth is, we see what we want to see, and what we want to see is what those around us see. And what we don't see is... well, conspiracies.
