    New Microsoft Surface demo

Microsoft researchers demonstrate SecondLight, a new variation of the company's Surface technology, at the Professional Developers Conference in L.A. The prototype Surface table projects an image through the screen so that any translucent material held above the Surface display shows a different image than the original.
It's use may differ from person to person but it looks really cool

Now that's an exceptionally designed display system.

Hopefully someone out there is researching the possibility of implementing this into mobile devices.

That is insanely cool, both SecondLight and the touch-screen. Want, definitely want.

That's ridiculous! The speed technology is traveling, I won't be surprised if they invent a 3D holographic projection model from the surface.

That's witchery! Burn them! Burn them all!
Murray Walker: "And there are flames coming from the back of Prost's McLaren as he enters the Swimming Pool."

James Hunt: "Well, that should put them out then."

Good job Microsoft. Now make it consumer ready and I won't buy one, but I promise to have a serious look at it.
