    Slot Colors?

    Hey guys,

Following the poll about your preferred pcb colors, i figured it would be interesting to see what color slots youd like to see on a board
feel free to post comments, and again the poll is multiple choice, so you can select several colors and then click "vote"

Blue, Red and White are the killing combination. BO and Mars colors rules

really? dont you think the color mix was a bit messy?
so you think 4 colors for a mainboard is ok?
    1 pcb
    2 slot
    3 slot
    4 slot

Most people seem to prefer 2 colors for the whole board, 1 for pcb and slots and one secondary slot color to highlight the main slots.

As I said, I like combination wich we have at Mars and BO.

Every color of that 3 goes with black pcb. It's not on me to decide... If you want 2 colors (and black pcb) then White - Blue is better combination then White - Red or Red - Blue...

I personally like black/orange, black/blue, black/yellow. That's the good thing about a black PCB, almost any colour goes with it. I definately mobo makers should just stick with a 2 colour theme, otherwise it just looks like a mess:

I guess the designer was colourblind or on acid. Blue, yellow, red, orange, purple + green combo FTL!

    Sapphire 4870 (w/ AC Accelero S1)
    Corsair HX620W (Sleeved UV Green)

hahaha, yeah i know what you mean...
the reason they use those colors is actually cause the system builders love it... its very easy to spot the slot you want to plug something into if it has a completely different color, and its much easier to recognize all the slots on the board... but yeah, besides system builders EVERYBODY hates those color mixes... except for some few people who find it funny or nice, but then again, no matter what you do, there will ALWAYS be some few people who like it for some reason

White pcb with red slots would be killer combo, but since white pcb is probably not going to happen I'll settle with black pcb red slots.

Voted for Black PCB/Red Slots and Black PCB/Black slots. So sick of Blue layouts everyone seems to have 1 or another Blue type MB. Dont get me wrong I got a Black ops (which kickass) among other brands MB's. But every time I look my Black Ops it reminds of my countries flag

ahhhh but i dont think that was inentional
its interesting, i was thinking about that the other day... how come almost all country flags are white, red and blue?
maybe the cheapest colors back in the days everybody figured they need a flag of their own?

I think an all black motherboard would be awesome! There should only be like 1 or 2 (or a series like asus rog) but yeah I think that would look awesome. Maybe black heatsinks even

yeah i think all black looks good, like the nvidia reference boards, some of them are almost all black and only use a bit grey or blue
and black and blue seems to be the second favourite after black and red
