Brisingr

Christopher Paolini's third book Brisingr just came out two weeks ago and was a huge success on opening day. After reading the book, however, I must say I was not impressed. Too much of nothing happening imo.


I've thought about the book a lot and considered that I'm going about the book the wrong way and it (as the title agrees with) is not about any major battle but the sword and foreshadowing the 4th book. But even still, come on Paolini you had us waiting for a few years and this is what you give us?

Any thoughts?

the next book should be quicker...it should already be written really. I got through brisingr in under 2 days lol

it better be, I won't bother with the 4th book if it takes him another 4 years and isn't truly amazing
