I don't know why the old Stacker-Slacker thread is gone
i surely hope this won't have the same luck
i think that the Stacker series do deserve a dedicated modding thread
so please feel free to post your comments
and of course pics of your stackers as well
This is where it all began for me and CM Stackers back in 2006...
one of the first Stacker 830s
with a 7 colour chameleon paintjob...
black electrostatic powder coating interior
and top mounted hard disks ...
...with custom blowhole covers. ..as seen in the second version of the X-Quad
(stealth black - total look)
at that time AMD was kind of “king of the hill”….
So a tribute case was something that came naturally…
Ati Crossfire was also something that deserved some attention
so lets do a red one….
Some lightly modded 830s also left the workshop at that time...
mostly to experiment on different colors besides the dull silver look of the original case
\\
And while you’re at it… why stop on a two color scheme
do a 5 color camo pattern and get ready for some desert action….
Here comes the MPC-02
(the first one can be found
here but I guess its going to be all Greek to most of you)
August 2006...
There is an new boy in town…
he’s called Conroe and he needs a new home…
Out come the wolves…
Nvidia’s raw power in a mean carbon look watercooled 830
With the first black 830’s available
Alternating the paintjob became easier
AEK F.C. themed case
Full racing outfit on a blind 831… for the Acropolis rallye in Greece
And to continue in petrolhead mode…
Here comes a retro looking 831 in pearl red, Ferrari themed mod
Nvidia 8 series SLi was surely something to brag about
Why not give it some extra bling then…
Brush polished 830 with black interior and custom acrylic logos
But then CM introduced the Stacker 832…
And Ati striked back with the 38xx series crossfire combos
It was definitely time for a new case…
The last of the Mohicans
The Cm stacker 833
Designed exclusively for Multirama.gr
Featuring:
Black anodized interior
Plexyglass side panel
Bottom mesh with 8 holes for radiator mounting
and a unique Front faclet to make things even better
Here in a cherry red metallic paintjob
Or in a two shade colorshift paintjob for something more extreme
Back to the automotive themes again
The tribute to Italian car makers continues with a retro Lamborghini Miura mod
And a more contemporary Ferrari F832 Stacker mod
(the rear spoiler has not been added yet on this pic)
And because sometimes all you need is a little extra space
Here comes the award winning MPC-02 B
The cases presented here are just a sample of over 40 modified stackers that have left the workshop the past two years for various customers
The ones that are more impressive from my point of view at least
I hope you liked them all,
really looking forward to mod another dozen of them
and update this thread sometime...
Special thanks goes to everyone that participated in any way
in these projects
