I'll be doing so in a week. I have to ship my Intel BadAxe2 mainboard overseas to relatives, and this board will be my replacement.

Also replacing the Crucial ram in sig with two G.Skil 4GB 4-4-4-12 @1.8-1.9v 4GB modules.

its simple to make you fly
65nm of intel processor, try CPU termination 1.4v
also, you need CPU PLL for 65nm processor, try 1.6~1.8v

45nm, just pull higher CPU termination, 1.32v(540FSB)~1.6v(600FSB & beyond)

i see you change memory ratio to match your memory, thats smart way

It took me awhile to get things set up, because at first, I experienced random reboots and instability.

I went back, disconnected all power/data cables and all cards, and removed/reseated the RAM. I also clipped the ends of two of my PSU's SATA connectors and replaced them with right-angle ones, and went with right-angle SATA data cables to remove kinks.

The system is now up and very stable, with a RAID 1 mirror for my boot drive, and a third 1TB drive for media storage, running the F5 BIOS. Since I had a Tuniq Tower, I also had to dremel the K8 "nipples" off the sides of the mounting clip so that it would fit well. I have only just reloaded the OS, and will be restoring data in the next 48 hours. I'm running at stock settings for now until I have everything set up just the way I want it; at that point, I'll consider doing a minor overclock to go up to 1333 FSB. Stock performance of the board is quite good, though.

I have and gotten a 515FSB and if I was better at tweaking clock skews i'm sure it would be better.

Sounds good. I still do not know whether to switch over. Probably I'll buy a new psu 1st, as during 3dmark06/Vantage cpu tests my rig just switches off.

Dunno if this will be of use but here are my settings for 530mhz 5:6 Stable - 500 Linpack Loops passed, 24 hours Prime95, 12 hours looping 3d06.

Note - this memory has problems running 1:1 ratio, it only likes the upclock dividers. Confirmed on biostar and gigabyte boards.

Dymblos,i think maybe your mch ref voltage is too low(0.66),bring it up a few notches so it reads in ET6 as 0.70 to 0.76.start with 0.70 then try 0.74 and so on,till it works.also set your vMCH(NB voltage) to 1.30.good luck

continue doing priming test with FSB 580MHz
i add some voltages to make sure it could run 24hrs
    here the voltage i add

    Super PI 32M
    CPU vcore: 1.200v
    CPU PLL: 1.65v
    CPU VTT: 1.20v
    CPU / REF: 0.76v
    RAM:2.0v
    MCH: 1.30v

    Burn-IN
    CPU vcore: 1.200v
    CPU PLL: 1.67v
    CPU VTT: 1.22v
    CPU / REF: 0.76v
    RAM:2.0v
    MCH: 1.32v

with low voltage prime 2 hours pass, and continue..
