From the pictures I've seen of the ladies there you couldn't pick a much nicer place to be "stuck"!

Hey Jasmine, you can make an account on a free host somewhere (like photobucket), that would be pretty easy.

I'll post pics after my camera battery (and I) recharge All I can say is, it was a total blast from the time we landed until the time we left

It was great hanging out the people I met before and meeting everyone that I hadn't...they need to do this like once a month

Here's one tidbit: according to Collin, we went through 1600-1750L during the event (emptied 10-11 tanks)

After you upload scroll down and on the first line under the images copy/paste that here and it should work.
Yes to one at a time but at top left says "upload another image" and that will save a little time.

Well yeah, personally I would not use imageshack because of the pop-ups... very annoying. Anyway a good hosting site will let you upload a bunch at one time, then you just cut and paste the links into your post.

    *waves*

I still owe you pictures. I'll send them on as soon as we arrive back in South Africa. We're also stuck here due to the typhoon.

    -------------------------

I'm uploading some more pics from the Tavern / Room 18 evening now to the same place I put the event pics.

It's been quite an experience today. There's plenty of carnage and quite easily the heaviest rains and fiercest wind I've ever experienced.

Well, they've closed the airport so it's pretty big. I can tell you from our (South African guys) experience we were stuck in 101 for quite a while. At one point the top of one of the street lamps came flying past. Lots of tree's and branches were lying in the middle of the road. It's calmed down a lot now but unfortunatley too late for those of us who were planning on leaving today.

    Extra night's accommodation ftl!

    It's a strong one alright.

CNN is reporting that it's the strongest to make landfall in Taiwan this year with sustained winds of 118mph.
