Conversion via google is easy. Type:

    xxx EURO to USD

    or

    xxx USD to EURO

But it's a shame how weak the USD turned. It started 1:1 to Euro. All the best to the US currency!

I've seen some mention in here about Charles' guide to joining cables, so they don't show, anyone know where it is?

Can it be stretched tighter? It looks rather bulky.

It doesn't look too bad. I agree that it's a bit bulky... but overall... not too bad for the price.

Hmm, not bad! I like how you cannot see the wire colors through the sleeving. I'm glad I went ahead and got several cords. Now I just need cheap, colored heatshrink...

Here are my weapons of choice

On the top are (cheapo 20 in 1) needle nose pliers and a staple bent in half
On the bottom are tweezers to remove molex cables

closeup of molex removal, do one side then the other.

closeup of pin removal. Stick the staple in one side then the other side then it slips right out (for me anyway)

    hello all.

I came across these forums a week ago and have finally decided to start modding my tj09 case

The first thing I want to do is sleeve all the cables in the case (Then paint the inside black).

I have the corsair HX620W modular power supply and Iam having trouble with the 8-pin and 240pin cables. Been using a bent staple and a spare modular cable for practice but only some of the cables want to come out.
How far and how much force is generally needed to get the staple in and the cable out?

I will buy the sleeving from www.mdpc-x.com but I dont want to spend £40-£50 if I cant get the pins out!

Any help would be much appreciated.

If you want i can get the pins out for you, if you are intrested send a PM to me

Otherwise you need a remover like the original Molex and if you pull you have to pull absolut straight.

If you saw my post above i have to stick about 80% of the staple length into each side of the pin. When i do it, its easy for half, then i push down a little bit more. when i push down the second time is it a little bit harder but not impossible. Just takes practice and a technique that works for you.
