from what I can tell, yes- it's paracord, and yes, its empty inside *you can carefully remove the inner core from paracord*

For those wondering about paracord http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004FFB95Q it's pretty inexpensive and seems to give that bitfenix alchemy cable look (except you'll most likely use heat shrink).

This thread inspired me to, not only to join xtremesystems, but also order my first sleeving kit from MDPC-X (which shipped this morning ) for tackling a renovation on my current system that includes a Superflower PSU with the funky style modular cables, anyone have tips on these?

I have a Seasonic Platinum, and I have several double wire (MS side), it's possible to "cut" the double wire and have 24pins MB side and 24pins PSU side (and not 28pin PSU side)
