Sleeving looks good in good pics, but plasticy in others, but not everyone can afford a $1k+ camera to take pics of their pc
How did you get such good pics then?
Dang i got lazy, did have of the sleeving, then i needed the tool and i was going to practice on another PSU instead of going right into my Corsair but that was months ago.........

In there the grey used is the light or dark one (seems dark)?
but something like:
but with the colors i have in mind.
What do you THINK would look better? I thought a ratio of 2-black:1-vanilla sand: 1-light gray. Based on your experience and extremely good taste, what do u think?

Xien16, quick Q about the pictures. Why does there appear to be grain/texture on 1/2 of the latest batch of pictures? I assume Nils didn't change the formula of the plastic, so is it just camera noise?

Hi guys.
I need your help.
I will sleeve the 24pin ATX cable from my new PSU (Silverstone strider plus 850W)
The cables supplied are great because there is no split on the PSU side from the 24pin ATX cable (for example on seasonic it is splitted into one 18 pin block and one 10 pin block).
My problem is that they mix all the GROUND, or +5V or +3,3V or +12V which means pin 3 on the 24pin block PSU side (which is GND) can be for instance on pin 7 on the 24pin block motherboard side.
And this is the same for the +5V or +3,3V or +12V cables stated above.
1) Here is my question : Can i switch one GND cable to another GND, one +5V to another +5V, and so on? because the idea is to have for instance pin1 motherboard side go to pin1 PSU side, so my sleevings are nice and do not tangle.
I mean if i test with a multimeter and i have proper voltage values between the pins as depicted on the picture above it should not be a problem right?
2) 2nd question : i have a cable going from pin 20 (PSU side) to pin 13 (motherboard side).
Pin 20 (formerly −5V, white wire) is absent in current power supplies; it was optional in ATX and ATX12V ver. 1.2, and deleted as of ver. 1.3.
So there are 2 cables going in pin 3(motherboard side). Can I remove this cable ? I do not see what it is used for ?
Thanks a lot for your help !!
