    4850 Crossfire bridge setup!

    Hello,

I have 2 4850's and I was wondering how do I setup the bridge connection because I am not sure if I use 1 bridge, or 2 bridges together?

Also, with the Accelero S1 VGA cooler can I use 2 bridges if needed?

It should work with one I had two , still it worked

As for the Accelero S1 , yes you can put the bridge through them but you simply need to cut a hole intro the fins for it, it will not affect the performace at all,

    Just FINS not Heatpipe !

Ok thanks a bunch! Is there a difference between 1 and 2, since you use 2? I will try and fit 2 on there for the sake of it.

I have noticed that the fins bend very easily on the Accelero S1. I could probably just bend them and slide the bridge through, then bend them back in place. Is that what you did, or did you actually cut the fins?

I have also seen some reviews saying cut the heatpipe to slide the bridge through, but I thought that was a ridiculous way of doing it, since you would mess with the cooling aspect of the pipes.

use one bridge, not two. you can get occasional graphical corruption if you use two bridges with two cards. i've had three CrossFire systems.
