Anyone know anything about Dell Inspiron 5160 notebooks? need help replacing battery.

Yeah - I just got one for free off a buddy - the 3.2ghz intel P4 one...

Very cool - but, not surprisingly considering the hardware, the battery is dead as can be. I need a replacement battery and there is about 4000 to choose from with no reliable source of information for any of them. Hell even reputable e merchants are hard to find to sell this stuff.

The model of battery that came out of the laptop is 6T473 - but i get the feeling you can use anything that fits, several different types of battery with really close specs and just slightly different model numbers, and then five different manufacturers for each. Hell I don't even know what brand to trust... I just know i don't want to buy an actually dell one because they are about 200% more in cost than any of the competition.
