    nice cpu. One can only hope buying an E8600 = reaching the 5Ghz mark.

    looks like that board is something else as i'm kinda struggling with my chip to do 4.9GHz benches let alone 5GHz lol

    Just made superpi 1M at 5050mhz under water
    Ill past results as soon as I change Motherboard

    As promised:


    I maneged to get it running at lower voltage for 5ghz (probably could go bit lower too)

    Test my E8600

    Nice chip eva excellent work

    Well, first test with E8600 (Q820A604 ) on air Vid 1.25.
    cooler cpu Zalman 9500 L.
    Abit Ip35 Pro-bios 17( Bad bios), Gskill Pc8500 BHK (2x1)(bad divisor), 2 Seagate 250Gb Raid 0, Sapphire 3870 Toxic, CoolerMaster 750 w.

    SuperPi 1M-4960 Mhz



    Temp. ambient 24°C temp Idle 38°C -Load 72 °C

    And Cpu-z valid at 5050 Mhz (1.58 v)

    Get priming that bad boy for at least 3-12 hours .....

    At least 3 hours so i can enter it into my E8600 database thread.

    5ghz spi 32m under liquid is good achievement
