Having a bit of fun with my CellShock CS2221650 "Red Devil" kit and my Maximus Formula, I managed single SuperPi 32M stability@DDR2-1200 4-4-4-4 with 2.50v BIOS set (=2.56v DMM). Ignore the PC Probe II reading, it's a bit high.

Mind sharing your BIOS settings? For whatever reason I'm having great difficulty these days with my UD3P, maybe it prefers my E8400s over my E8500.

Imo it's better to buy 1066 kits from crucial than 800.

Well, if you can get them for cheap, why not! Even Crucial's 5300s were good memory!

I would even say that some of them were better than 6400 kits.

Doesn't sound bad, I paid for mine 20usd. For such speed you will probably need around 2.4v [this is what my lanfest's wants to] to work at ~600mhz. And that's what I'm consider as pretty high voltage for 24/7 use.

Firstly im not going to use this mem 24/7. We need it to get over 600fsb because atm kingston memory blocks us. it does only 1150MHz on 2.35v (real 2.37v).

I've no idea where you can purchase a proper ram pot.

I store my dry ice in a thick walled polystyrene box, with a thick base and a thick lid. This is also placed in another polystyrene or cardboard box. I place broken panels of polystyrene on top of the dry ice in the box also to aid insulation.

thanks...I must learn all timing items because before I bought Cell Shock's I had Commando and there isn't many items on adjusting the timing and maybe I will get 1200MHz 4-4-4-4...with 5-5-5-5 I got 1330MHz, but 1335MHz wasn't stable with 2.5V
