I just got my Diablo 1150 kit in today from TankGuys. The stickers on the modules clearly show "D9GKX," you gotta love CSX for that.

It'll be a while, I'm at work now. I do find it odd that this is a new product from CSX replacing the old D9GMH-based DDR2-1200 kit and it uses D9GKX. Also GKX-based Team kits seem to be plentiful in Asia these days; maybe there's some big hidden stash of D9GKX that was discovered or something??/

Yes the Team Group does very well, my 8500 kits are good, and I have seen some great results with the 10400 & 9600 kits too.

cool, i think im going to get the 10400 kit. do you know what chips they use?edit-nevermind just looked at the ram list,it looks like im better off going with the 9600 cause they use the d9 gkx,and the 10400 use both.or maybe try those csx 1150 kits

I think there are some results with the Cellshock 8500 in this thread. Pretty much, CellShock + Micron RevD = joy.

    I have 2 kits

Still testing - waiting for UD3P

But I got 2.0v for 1111MHz 5-5-5-15 and it was super stable. I can bench at 1200MHz also, but not 100% stable.

I'm not sure on the ICs but I'm 99% certain Corsair 5.1s don't use any form of D9s. I remember a lot of people returning their 5.1s because they sucked so badly.

    Yeah when I RMA'ed my 1.2's I got these 5.1's back. They are the worse piece of i have ever used/heard of. They can't run stock - 1066MHz 5-5-5-15 W/ 2.1v. I need 2.2v plus for that.

Yes this is correct. The 5.1's suck. I could only run them at stock setting no matter what the voltage

Well it doesn't look like the Maximus II likes the CSX kit too much, similar issues as with the Cellshock 8000 kit but even worse. The skews didn't help much at all. Currently testing on the DFI P35.

Memtest tends to freeze up when you try to push more than 2.2V to those kits. You have to play with the clock skews to get around it, 150ps delay seems to work with the Cellshock but not so well with the CSX and I really didn't feel like fighting with the board.

Good call. M2F is nowhere near as good as its hyped to be, I like my P5Q Pro much better.
