    Extreme GPU Cooling Mod

Well, I got a little bored today, and found a fan from a hair dryer (that runs on 12 volts), a bunch of carboard and some tape. The result is this:

Its connected to a toggle switch that lets me select between Off, 5v and 12v. Its quite loud at 12v , but it sure drops them GPU temps right down on the "stock" cooler

milk carton plastic makes excellent ducting, cuts with scissors, bendable and tape sticks to it very well.

Not yet, performance is still pretty horrid since I'm using the stock ATI cooler. With the fan off, the GPU idles about 3-4*C cooler at around 65*C, I'm guessing just because of the better air flow and ducting from the front cooling fan. With the fan on low, idle will drop to about 47*C. I need to do some tests with the GPU's built in fan on high, and the big fan on high.
