dont mean to hijack the thread, but while this is a topic, i've got a question about my pi 32m.
My system is 20 pass linpack stable but freezes almost instantly when I start a 32m run.
    ...wtf...

yeh i guess i haven't done the ol memtest in a few days
but i thought linpack testing verified RAM stability at least to some degree
i mean, i can and have run literally any and every other benchmark
    wprime 1024m for example.

i guess, but vNB was at 1.6v which is already pretty high for P45.
I'll try incrementally to 1.7, but I won't go abover that on air.
I'm not too concerned, as I'm canging out this board (P5Q3) soon.

Probably not it, but are you running vista? I remember having issues with spi on vista but this was a year or so ago.
