Any chance that the "Swiftech" logo will not be upside down on the final revision?

Caldera 4870X2 logo (if that's what you are talking about)

1/ when you install the block normally (99% of the cases) the swiftech logo is facing downwards, so you cannot read it.

2/ if you have one of these cases where you can install the mobo upside down then you can see the top of the cooler, and then the swiftech logo is in the correct reading position, right?

Please give this a second thought, and tell me if there is ANY other situation where the logo would be wrong reading (besides standing on your head to try to read it from below )

If all goes well, we will have an initial limited supply of Caldera Heatsinks this week, as well as the custom 6-32xM2 screws to install the MCW60 on the 4870X2.

    Sorry for the delay

Having been on hold but for one part (this one), for some time now, I'd consider myself qualified for "dibs". How do I get a peice of this limited supply?

Hey Gabe I just noticed. You've changed the block a little. The cut in the center does not go as deep on the card now.

Any particular reason you are including the excess material in the block? I thought the idea was to minimize the coper and other materials used.

copper is same (2x MCW60 plates), cut in delrin housing has been reduced to improve material stability during machining. cost is same :-)

Well, all of us who are waiting to complete their builds have nothing to do but look at the pretty pictures and console ourselves with the belief that the block is coming soon.

I broke down and put together my new rig on air cooling last weekend as I needed to have it together in-time for L4D. Only waiting on your block to finish off the WC loop. Any chance I'll get to spend this weekend taking my rig apart?

I just got mine from thecoolingshop.com. Also on Tekheads.co.uk. Fitted mine to a Powercolor PCS+ which is a non-reference board, fits perfectly! Seems to be great so far, will post up temps etc ASAP.

I just finished my gpu loop and CCC reports the idle core temp as 29degC with two crossfire 4870's on a single MCR220 + 7V yates. Ambient temp is around 68degF.

... could point the MCW60's towards each other and connect them in series (have a 45 or 60 degree fitting on each to act as in/out) maybe.

All along the watchtower the watchmen watch the eternal return.
