XSPC Razer block for 4870 X2?

As much as I would LOVE an EK HD4870 X2 Nickel block, I really can't spend the AU$180+ for one of them, and I don't want to go to the trouble of trying to get two MCW60's on there (especially if there isn't something like a uni-sink for it), so does anyone know if/when XSPC is releasing an FC block for the HD4870 X2?

If not, anyone know of a good Australian retailer that sells DD FC blocks?

+1 I would be very hesitant to go with an XSPC acrylic FC block, based on what i've seen here.

I'm using an XSPC acrylic reservoir and it's been great for me. No signs of damage or cracking so far and I've had it for almost one year.

I can't speak about their blocks though as I have no experience with them.

Reservoir tops or reservoirs? My reservoir has no removable top, it's one solid piece.

Yeah, XSPC has QC issues, and although their blocks have good price/performance, you won't always get a good block.

DD usually prices their blocks similar to EK, unfortunately. Maybe wait to see if Swiftech will release a block?

Are you totally against the Koolance FC blocks? They look high quality and probably perform very well.

Was it mild steel or stainless steel? T304 stainless shouldn't corrode or rust.

They are great quality but you need to make sure they are sending the brass plugs and not the old steel plugs, that rust in a couple of days. Otherwise the block is great.

I'll just replace the plugs on my 4870 block for EK plugs.

    it was crap:

wasted about 2.5 hours flushing with about 25 dollars worth of distilled vinegar to get that crap out.

i contemplated geting a new rad even, and i am. But i needed a rad up that day.

Dude, now when i order koolance im getting 2. One to cut up, the other to use, like i did b4.

Seriously i gave them a shot after i cut up a brass module and found out it was brass. Who would of thought they would cheap the little parts like plugs.

Yea, that's a shame. T304 is very high quality stainless, but it shouldn't cost too much to make a couple of plugs out of it, don't know why they didn't. Mild steel sucks.

XSPC Full cover Blocks for the 4870X2 are now in production - no ETA atm

Please note the XSPC is fairly new to the Full Cover GPU market so there maybe a few issues for them to fix as they develop the product

Koolance sent an email today confirming that all plugs are now brass, if you have the old ones just ask for replacements.
