    Cool [Happy ending] Share your International order Horror stories

    You hang out for that International order to arrive. You check the tracking service at work. It says package delivered! You get home, and there the box is, sitting on the bed. You approach it carefully, in tense excitement. You admire the packaging and tape of the exterior. You rip it open, to behold your prize...

    AND THEY HAVE SENT YOU THE WRONG STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I ordered some Pro-LRT tubing (along with other assorted goodies) and they sent me the old silicone clear tubing (which isn't really clear at all ).

    Oh well what can you do? I've sent an email asking for them to send me the right stuff, with the following pics attatched. I was actually quite pleased how well they came out.

    Just look at the stuff, it's hideous...

    That was my nightmare last week. Ordered a EK DDC top, got the D5...


    After emailing them about the problem 3 days later I get an email asking for pictures.... Like I dont know the difference

    Last time I deal with them, worst part I was warned, no need to say "I told you so" BlueAqua LOL

    Yeah add that to all the other FAILED international orders and I've come to the conclusion that they are a last resort place to shop. I will report how much of a nightmare my order is when I order later this week [I want more stuff now lol].

    On the plus, my Sidewinder order is in Aus and shall be delivered tomorrow. I'm sure that will be fine.

    It always is, Gary's a champ. Only time I ever got a mixed up order from there was when his basement was flooded by a cyclone - which I think is understandable. What impressed me was the way it was handled - no questions asked shipped out the right fittings within an hour of my e-mail, no waiting to return the originals and no dicking around asking for pictures as if I don't know the difference when I see it.

    Hmm is there anyone [anyone anyone echoo] that has ordered internationally from PPC without a major hickup?

    So far there has been wrong tubing, wrong pump tops and forgetting to put in a dozen fittings.

    my order this week also mess up, i ordered custom made Male 8-pin PCI Express 2.0 to Female 6-pin PCI Express adapter cable and some other modding stuff, but i can't get it to work with my power suply, it even barely insert to my original 8 pin pcie express cable, after some modding i can finaly insert it but now my vga won't even boot if i use that cable.

    This is really troublesome to hear about! I was planning to buy some new stuff from Hank!

    Whatahell happened with them?? - I have ordered stuff to Sweden many times without any problems, the service has been flawless and they always shipped the correct orders and parts, so I had the stuff in only a few days.

    Today I need some new stuff, but this new information about PPCs is causing some anxiety!

    Maybe they hired someone new, who is screwing up all the orders?

    (Maybe he/she's too stoned and wasted to get them right? )

    I would be furious if I received the old Primochill tubing instead of the new LRT ones! - It would be like they didn't care about what they are sending out! *take this, be happy, don't complain and STFU*

    I really hope there is an explanation to all this and that things at PPCs gets back to normal soon! so we can order our stuff without problems - this is just annoying!

    Ok all, listen up.

    This thread has potential, but at the same time i don't want it to become a PPC bashing free-for-all.

    I would like to think that it was just a mistake. Although i do have a sneaking suspicion that they were trying to use up their old stock on a customer who "hopefully wouldn't know any better"; i don't (and probably never will) know the truth.

    I have placed many orders with PPCs (along with other stores), and this is the only one where a mistake was made. The original topic was to vent some frustration on my part, but i am happy to turn it into a story-telling session. But let's keep it to that; story telling. No flaming or bashing stores please.

    i also had order 3 month ago from ppcs that missend to IRAQ, usually it only take 10 day form PPCS to Indonesia but this time it take almost 2 month, but i think that USPS fault.Althought i had to wait for 1 month to request tracking status to ppcs for my package before that they just tell me to wait.
    But besides all of that i think they all okay, m,aybe they lack of worker for delivery inspector? or had so many order and can't keep up with it.

    Took more than a month to re-route down-under.

    Not really international, but I do live out of CONUS and after living on the mainland much of my life and pretty much having anything I order being there in 2 or 3 days for pennies if not flat out free, I can appreciate the pain of expensive shipments that takes what seems like forever....and the horror of getting a screwed up shipment. I have placed 8 or 10 orders with PPC, never had a problem. I have only had 1 problem with shipment and that was for a flight sim add on I ordered ....it was not in the box. One email and it was shipped to me, so wasn't much of a horror story. I have had more problems buying locally from Bestbuy's store front. They seem to like repacking returned items and selling it like it's new. Don't know how many times I get my stuff home from BB, open the box and see that...it's used!!!! Turn right back around to return the and get an actual new item since I paid new item price. Never had that happen from online orders....at least that I have noticed.

    What sux the most is to recieve something thats wrong but too large and cheap to be worth shipping back!

    My case was a Lian Li mobo tray...wrong model

    that being said, I've had wrong things from almost all the online shops which I had shopped at regularly
    most asked for a photo which I find to be reasonable but not very useful since anyone dishonest enough could've just grabbed a "wrong" item bought elsewhere to fake a claim

    what matters most is how the store reacted to such cases...and I'm happy to say that most of them had offered reasonable solutions
