I think us common people will only see this bios become generally available after the top dogs have finished using it.

So far if i set BIOS vcore to 1.4V i get red lights on the PCI #1 card and no detection of that card in Windows, if i set 1.375V i get red lights and BSOD loading Vista, if i set 1.365V i get no screen loading Vista.

thumbs up for T_M and team AU, you're the dude

thanks t_m i can confirm bios working thanks a million , on anybody who does not already have an asus card you will have to force flash also you might need to reinstall ccc and driver i did, whats the max effective voltage is it 1.35 volt like on the 2900s or 1.276 like i seen somewhere thanks again oh and also can run 1000 on memory no probs now whereas anything over 950 before got artifacts

The max flashable Vcore is 1.35 for my cards.
Above that it wont load Vista.
At that setting, max vcore in 3d'06 firefly is about 1.365V real, 1.329 idle on desktop.

Yes you have to force flash (-f) to get past the SSID error in ATIFlash, but apart from that its hunky dory.
Right now im benching at 830/1000.

Wish i knew No_Name's secret to get above 900 core..... :s

The BIOS that i posted is the TOP BIOS i recieved, then edited to 100% fan speed and 800/1000 at all PowerPlay settings.
The volts i set to 1.25V across all settings too (except for overheat protection).

The secret to getting past CCC limits is to not install CCC at all.

So these Bioses need to be altered manually with RBE ro increase the voltage?

I've flashed them successfully anyway, I'm just downloading 3dmark 03 and 06 (changed my Hard drive last week) and will test them out, I hope my artifacts are gone at 1000mem too!

yep, the artifacts are gone at 1000mem, great stuff. It didn't help my score though, I think I'm CPU limited with my q6600 at 3.8Ghz,

open RBE (link below), load the bios file and check clock 10,11 & 12. Set them to the values you want and then save the bios file. Then repeat for slave file

This doesn't seem to work for me either. My card still crash @ 800MHz core, no matter if I set 1.30v or 1.35v in bios.

    Anyone got it working?

    Mine works sort of!!!

Adjusting voltage has never & still doesn't actually change my cards voltage.

CCC goes ape & fights against GPU-Z so its best to can CCC so GPU-Z can read speeds, temps etc correctly. I also had to re install the video driver I am using the 8.9 BETA btw.

My card does & will run 860~870 core on its original bios although now its been running for a few weeks it wont make 3DMARK points up there anymore. My cores like about 830.

My memory on my stock BIOS would run 950 on one core & 1050 on the other however now I've flashed the ASUS TOP BIOS I can run 1070 on both cores.

I have my card at 825/1070 with my fan at 40% & a tweaked fan profile that raises to about 60% fan speed once the card is under load.

After all this messing about with the TOP BIOS I still cant identify any performance gain, I presume they have just slackened the memory timings off a bit to allow more head room.

Thanks for your efforts T_M. I don't suppose you have the original TOP bios(s) unmodified?
