    WANTED: Asus TOP bios set for 4870x2

    I need to get a copy of the bios's for an asus top 4870x2. if anyone has them please let me know.

    you can flash most any bios from the same card to another card thats the same.... IE: VT 4870x2 <---> Asus 4870x2. the cards are the same just different bios's with different settings.

    the x2 has 2 bios's. make sure to get both of them


    the asus top card has clocks of 825/1000 i believe.

    thanks hazzan as fitseries3 says above ( thumbs up for starting the thread) but the bios you have uploaded is not right for the x2 use gpuz to save both the master bios and the slave bios and re upload them if you can , the bios looks to me like a normal 4870 asus top bios rather than x2 and as fits says above higher clock speed and in overdrive the max value you can set is 900 core instead of 800 core

    thanks hazzan , yes they look right now , these bioses don't say which one is master and slave but the r7001.bin is master and the r7002.bin is the slave can you confirm hazzan that ati overdrive goes up to 900 on gpu core

    how did you go about getting them saved from the card? im not saying you are inexperienced... just wanting to make sure everything is good to go before i flash my card.

    right to save anybody else some time , flashed the bios these bios has to be forced flash as the SSID of the card is different but works a ok but overdrive limit is the same 800 on core so not much point flashing to it but i'd like to thank Hazzan for posting the bios and fitseries for starting the thread

    ASUS 3870X2 TOP had different PCB than reference design, eg. Sapphire...

    The TOP-version has 877MHz stock on core, higher vGPU and higher Overdrive-limit.

    Hazzan seem to have the non-TOP-version, but thanks anyway.
