Received today my two Club 3d HD 4870X2
Just a quick run with first card, in tha afternoon I will test second card and the CFX
This is my first run, later I will try for max. core and memory frequencies

A '03 without optimizations and low cpu freq:

    See you later

Something's wrong in my score I think
    Or maybe I'm CPU limited?

I have no idea some guys done GT2 1200+ on air, seen like it's bugged, but nobody want to admit it's bugged run.

    Maybe I'm cpu limited
In single card I've many problems in GT2...
Sometimes I reach 820+fps and sometimes only 670fps
I must test the cards on the Rampage

CPU doesn't effect 03 score much. My cpu speed 5G,but GT2 is only 1050~1100.

like andre say's 03 need's raw GPU power not cpu . though cpu will give u little bit off points not muth .

    Well that's true
Combined low cpu freq. and especially low fsb maybe kill my final score
I don't know why but today I cant go over 460fsb with 10x multi with my BO
Mainboard or cpu start to going crazy

@ Blind: yes off course, but I see many high results with not amazing gpu clocks

This is a GT2 and GT3 "low run":

GT4 is ok and also GT1.

as soon as you boot into windows and before you set clocks in amd oc tool

    run a quick am3

after that run is done then set the clocks for each of the 4 cores in amd oc tool to say your 820/950. then run 03 and post your score

also 03 with cf/cfx is ALL about cpu mhz. try running at 4.5ghz then go to 5.5ghz then to 6.xghz at 6.5ghz the scores will still continue to scale IMO.

remember these resolutions of these benchmarks are all cpu driven and cf/cfx/sli feed off of cpu mhz for these resolutions

    Win7 64 Ultimate
    i7 930 - 4200mhz 24/7 - Dtek v2
    ASUS P6X58D-E
    2 x MSI 6970's xfire
    3 x 2gb G-Skill 2000mhz
    Samsung 27" LCD
    SilverStone ZM1200w psu
    2 x 300gb WD Velociraptors Raid 0, 4TB storage
PS3-used mostly for bluray and media server

    I really hope
You must wait till next saturday

Yes, I've try but same results
With AMD Gpuclock I can set the frequency only for the first card, 2nd card don't accept the oc(according to what Amdgpu clock says).

that problem will be fixed by what i said earlier,as soon as you boot into windows run am3,(you dont have to actually run the benchmark, just open and exit) , then set the clocks.. i guess it initializes 3D or something but it works perfectly for me

Bug is when score is low not high. In quad cross at 4500Mhz normal score is about 128k

This is normal with dfi p45

    I take this 1 time...after reboot 120k

Try setting desktop resolution to 1024*768 before bench 2003...with Nvidia it was working and always gives a good score with some old g80 driver days

Buddy don't worry...you prepare one vista complete and one vista with only chipset driver. You find a limit on vista complete(low score but you try on it a max benchable 3d and cpu)...when find it you switch on second vista with bios set to max but fsb a little low....instal driver...ecc...ecc....set fsb to limt and run 3d03...you 1time possibility...if you are luck 2o3time for high score.
