    lol changed it again

Man the heat roiling off my Uber Doober Coolerator is intense...my feet are nice and toasty. Nothing like two OCed GFX cards Folding plus two insanely OCed Xeons Crunching to generate a tad of KE...

Actually seeing some faster result times now after a day of Crunching. Getting some 2:40 times which is closer to what my 4ghz desktop rigs are doing. I do think the RAM made a slight difference...and it let me get another 100 mhz.

CD...you're pissing me off, I just can't catch you.

You're always a couple hundred credits ahead of me for each day. I need to grab another quad or a couple dualies.

You'll get me tomorrow. The Wife shut down the QX9650 rig last night. I was snoring and she went downstairs to sleep on the couch and it was annoying her. I knew that was coming...I just left it off today.

    That's why I have a rig in the shop...but it's a measly dualcore.

    Down to ten cores ATM.

Doh! I was enjoying the competition, I was hunting down parts today in order to get some more machines running. Hopefully, you'll have the QX back up and running soon.

I dunno. I might have to slip the E3110 into that rig and smuggle the QX9650 down to the shop....

It's a royal PITA to get the HS off the Lian Li rig...but if I had an hour I could probably get the stuff swapped out before my Wife notices...and she is going out today.

As of 6:47 PM UTC, you're 75,023 BOINC points ahead of me. I have a tough road ahead of me, especially since you're outpacing me still by 100+ points a day.

However, I still like the friendly competition as I hope you do CD.

I'm New to BOINCing....I see it requires much stiffer hardware than Folding...which can be done with relatively limp and pliable gear. hides from Sparky

    cough

Anyway I discoverd that I am far too lazy to mess with taking anything apart right now. It is far easier to just turn the QX back on

It is a tad gusty...I've got three SanAce 1011 in it. The LL is not exactly a quiet case...then again right now I have 9 s-flex and two Iwakis about three feet away so who am I to know about noise?

    Ohhhhhh

I sort of ran it by her in my usual sideways manner...I explained I had been load testing the machine just to see what it could do and now I was done with that cough and I had detuned the machine so I could run it nearly silent again. THat and some anti-snore meds and I should stay ahead of you for a while

It's now the nearly silent machine...

SO I am back up with 14 cores but the QX is running "stock" for a bit...which still puts out a fair amount of work. This way I can run the Enzo at 666 RPM and still get 42C load temps. At 4 ghz I was averaging 63C SanAce going full blast

    Nice!

I got two of the E6550's crunching at the end of the day, two WU's from each machine have been returned, but it will be 4-5 days before the hit their stride of hitting average daily numbers. I'll try to get another two added tomorrow so we can get the race fully underway. These P4's and Pentium D's are almost not worth the power draw.
