I think it is better. Back when they went to the 6. whatever I was getting really bad PPD. I think it was because I was still using the older client. I was getting frustrated and thought I had something going on in the background causing my computer to slow down.
I will look at the log to see what you are talking about. Is bbcode in the Leet key firefox add on?

Awesome guide, I think this is the only guide I've done that worked the first time around.

^^Thanks Slayer... I really just posted it last year to show how I prefer to do mine, not really an official guide... but I like to keep things simple and short, so hopefully it helps some people out... luckily PG hasn't changed clients smp yet.... so this OP walkthru still works.

2long, I just meant post your log...
you can wrap your log in (code)xxxxxx(/code) - except replace the () with []
and it will look like this...

but if you're up and running and are happy with what you see, then that's not necessary... as long as it's folding and producing smp ppd, then yahoo!

I am having 0 luck with this on Windows 7 64. I followed the steps perfectly and everything was indicated to be working except when I actually launch the client. It immediately closes. Tried running as Administrator and still no dice. Any ideas?
