    would you foresee any problems with the 4870 1gb version? layout looks the same to me just wanted to get your thoughts.

    I get mine tomorrow so I can check, but afaik the layout is identical with 2x density memory chips, so they should fit fine.

    i installed them on my HIS 4870 1gb and the ram sinks do appear to be a bit off but not to a degree that it really matters i don't think.
