    775 Backplate

Looking for a back plate that will allow me to thread or insert 6-32 screw from back side of the motherboad and tighten down waterblock using wing or knurl nuts. any help appreciated.

I cant help you with the threading part but I don't see the point with that if you're inserting the screw from the back anyway.

I've used the Thermalright one for my Fuzion V1 mount: http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/thlgrmrebr.html
Keep in mind that the double sided tape is really strong and either keep the protective film on or just remove parts of it. It took me quite some time to get all the residue off when I removed it.

At the moment I'm using the EK backplate: http://www.petrastechshop.com/eksuuncpuwab.html
You might want to glue the metal and rubber parts together to make installation easier.

Those are the two backplates I have experience with but I'm sure there are more.

I think EK use a metric threading ?

Thermalright might be the right one but I don't think it's 6-32 as well. Look like M3.

The EK backplate has 5mm un-threaded holes so way oversized to be tapped and threaded to 6-32.
