    fan question

alright..im just curious to see what you would think of these fans.
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835103052
they are CM 120mm 44cfm ~20db sleeve bearing
    pros cons?

3 out of the 4 will be on a MCR320 rad
1 will be a case fan
they are cheap so im sure they wont last as long as the better fans that are $20 each but..what im sort of wondering is..are the stats on the fan published by CM correct? also will the sleeve bearing fan last when its positioned Horizontally**edit __ instead of |

thanks for any replies..im almost done ordering my new WC setup just have fans left to choose..

Spend an extra few dollars and go with the Yate Loon SM's or SL's

yeah, if your throwing those into a rad. go with the Loons for sure out of that selection. Its got alot higher CFM and the Rotations per minute are slightly higher for the extra push of air on your radiator.

    Good call though WoZZer
    Asus P5b Deluxe
    Gskill 2X2GB DDR2 6400
    saphire 4870 + MCW60
    e6600 @ 380x8 + DTEK Fuzion Rev 2
    Asus Xonar PCI-E
    Sunbeam Transformer *Modded
    Corsair HX520 PSU
2x BIX with 2 Yates each, both mounted on exterior
    MCP655-B with Tachometer
    WD Black 640g

FYI, __ = Horizontally (can be hard on sleeve bearings). | = Vertically.

+1 on Yate Loons. I saw those fans on sale elsewhere a short while back for a good price, did a little research, and find them quite lacking.

You have to be careful ordering fans from newegg too, the shipping can get crazy. Bulk buys help remedy that of course.

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=171661 the cm fans probualy aren't 19 dba most likely the upper 20s. i use zm-f3s which are similar to yate loons and i have no problem with the noise mostly cause i have a fan controller anyway. but i have never used a yate loon before and have no experience with them but they are supposed to be the best for a radiator.

yea i figured there werent really 19 but maybe mid 20s?..
also i know about the shipping i do plan to do buy more then just the fans but..thats the main thing i need to figure out what i want..
i think ill do just black fans ..im still unsure what color setup i want overall...so many choices..\

also how many cfm should i be lookin for on the MCR320
right now itll just be coolin the q6600
but im pretty sure i plan to get a 4870x2 and watercool it ....im not going for world record overclocks but id like to get 3.6+ outta my quad which was fairly easy on my old setup that imo is garbage compared to what im about to have.
