Corsair TW3X4G1600C9DHX + ASUS Striker II Extreme Stability Issues

    Hi All.

I'm having stability issues with four 2GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3 modules I have installed on my ASUS Striker II Extreme motherboard.

The motherboard is flashed to version 0901 (currently latest official release).

The memory is rated at 1600MHz 9-9-9-24 1.80V.

I've manually set the 9-9-9-24 timings in BIOS as well as the 1.80V and left everything else to auto.

Vista 64 freezes often. I was wondering if someone could tell me what you do in this situation. Do you change the memory voltage and/or the timings? If voltage, is there anything I should know for safety purposes (I don't wish to fry my memory etc)?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Typically you'll need to increase your memory controller voltage to run 4 modules. Also, do you have Vista SP-1 and all current patches and updates?

Also, AN806 may have some good information for you: http://www.corsairmemory.com/appnotes/default.aspx
