yeah i was afraid they were going to be priced that high.
i emailed mike last week and he wasnt sure if they were going to priced that high or not. looks to be the highest priced mATX to date!
from early reviews its the most wicked clocking mATX board too!

Anyone got one of these so we can see a review of a retail board instead of the early results we saw where 600mhz FSB was being achieved.
i dont go by early reviews, only legit random retail purchases.

i am so temped though, i have a little E8200 i would love to clock the pi$$ out of.

I have a feeling DFI is gonna do well with this board. With all the micro boxes out there. I have a micro case myself and if the mb in it ever goes I know what I'll replace it with.
The little air system that could.

Link? I've been beating on this board pretty hard and know of only one issue and it's minor.

Doubtful that there is any BIOS that could not use some improvement. The X48 DDR3 board has posted stable screenshots running memory at 2100+ with timings other boards can only dream of. The DK P45 Plus now holds the 1M SuperPi record at 6.875s. Not to shabby for a BIOS department that's been on vacation.

yeah the P35 Dark was a freak i loved mine. 500mhz FSB on barely over stock voltages.

as for the link over at [h] no i dont keep links for random threads that i find.

just head over there, you'll find it.

i didnt read alot of the thread but i saw alot of people reporting issues.
i do not recall what it was but i saw a few saying very low FSB was an issue.

which directly contradicts what we have been told thus far.
but then again, the original report was done using a pre retial board, and we all know that those guys are getting cherry picked motherbaords to test and report with.

so i take what i read, which was 600mhz fsb, with a grain of salt.

i have seen, in that thread, people reporting good quad clocking.

I looked and came up empty which is why I ask for a link. Was just curious if they were valid issues or the ramblings of users not even capable of tying their own shoes.

Not taking it any kind of way. Other then this forum I feel there are only a handful of others where reading what is posted can be assumed to be true. And for me [H] isn't one of them.

After reading the H thread I think I will stay with my Asus HDMI. Crossfire seems to be the only advantage and I don't really need that.

Yup, i had a quick read, was a bit worried but then i came to this:

"I was having trouble with 400FSB until I wrapped my head around the fact that CPU VTT is not the CPU voltage, and *then* everything fell into place, and I'm running just fine at 400FSB with my Q6600 (8x multi for 3.2Ghz, RAM at 800Mhz)."

And then i felt better all of a sudden.
